Deja Vu

Dejavuposter2small Last night was "date night" and jacinda and I double dated with one of my best friends, Chad and his wife Emma. They are missionaries in Romania (Emma is a native Romanian). I’ve been best friends with Chad since Elementary school, more importantly, Kindergarten. Me, him, and Bogie were unseparable until college. Now Bogie lives in Riverside, with my other best friend, Carlos, and Chad lives in Romania. Oh well, we still get to spend time together every year with furlow for Chad and with continual trips to LA for the other guys. We’ll be in LA this weekend!

Last night Chad and Emma came over and then we went to Famous Dave’s BBQ. This restaurant has only been open for 2 weeks now, and we had the ultimate platter last night. All four of us shared ribs, chicken, chopped pork, corn on the cob, beans, and cornbread. It was really good too.

After that we saw Deja Vu. I haven’t heard much about it, but I liked it. It is definitely worth seeing. Denzel Washington is one of those actors who rarely let’s me down. Plus Jesus was in the movie, you know…Jim Caviezel. The concept is a little out there, but I’m not a movie snob. If it is entertaining, then I like it. I don’t care if it is a dragon or some super human, it just better be good. I’ll give it 3.5 stars.

  1. As you know, I’m not a big commenter in the blog world, but I scrolled down to comment and i saw the post again. I thought to myself, “I wonder if Brian knows he accidentally posted the same thing twice?” Then I got it: DEJA VU. Or at least I think I got the joke. Anyways, I saw the movie last week with my dad, and I loved it even though there were a couple “medical” type things that would never be possible in real life. I guess that’s why its called a movie.
